About George

George was born and raised in the small town of Middlebury, Connecticut. With his mother from Portugal and his father from Greece, he had the opportunity to spend much of his childhood in both countries. This European heritage fostered a deep love for sports in his family, which was passed down to him. From the moment he could walk, soccer became a passion—one that still plays a significant role in his life today.

His father is the head chef and owner of Maples Family Restaurant in Middlebury, while his mother manages multiple offices for a podiatric practice in Naugatuck, Connecticut.

George attended Pomperaug High School in Southbury, Connecticut, where he played soccer all four years, earning the All-Colonial Award for his skill and perseverance on the field. He then continued his education at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island. Although he had no plans to play collegiate soccer, his love for the game led him to walk onto the university team as a freshman. However, academics remained his primary focus. George excelled in the classroom, earning a spot on the All-Academic team and the Dean’s List throughout his college career. In 2018, he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Certificate in Risk Management.

After college, George sought a career where he could make a meaningful impact. He quickly passed his life and health insurance exam and began working as a captive insurance agent specializing in Medicare planning. It didn’t take long for him to recognize how much seniors needed help navigating the complexities of Medicare. From the very start, he took his role seriously, committed to providing clarity and guidance to those who needed it most.

In 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the industry, George saw an opportunity to elevate his career. He became an independent broker, gaining access to a wide range of carriers. This transition allowed him to prioritize his clients’ needs without bias, ensuring they received the best possible coverage. Recognizing the importance of financial security alongside healthcare planning, he also earned his Series 65 license, becoming an Investment Advisor Representative under the Innovative Wealth Management Division in Trumbull, CT. This step enabled him to integrate his financial expertise with his passion for helping others.

Today, as an independent broker and financial advisor, George is dedicated to putting his clients—whether family, friends, or new connections—in the best possible position, regardless of age or health. He is not just another insurance broker; his mission is to educate, empower, and guide his clients toward informed decisions for their health and financial future. His goal is simple: to help everyone and anyone.
